For whatever reason, I’ve gotten in the habit of reading other Alabama Weblogs that actually update more than once every three months. Maybe it’s because I feel like I’m part of the community. Maybe it’s because I have no life and feel like no one loves me. Let’s go with the former reason.

Here’s something I read on Flashpoint this week by the person who calls (him?)self “Reactionary”:

Obama is on track to be the worst President ever.

Great opening, but most of it the post is general right-wing Weblogger boilerplate — the type of slogans and arguebites cut-and-paste from local talk radio hosts (who have cut-and-paste their opinions from Rush Limbaugh) that you honestly see on a lot of conservative Southern Weblogs these days.

Stuff like this:

Why are we allowing illegal immigrants into this country when we have Americans out of work?  Why are we importing legal immigrants into this country when we have Americans out of work?

Why do Democrats hate, smear, and try to destroy people like Joe the Plumber and Frank the Firefighter? …

Obama throws like a girl – scratch that – I know girls with stronger pitching arms. The fact that he’s a lefty comes as no surprise…

Hence why Uncle Carter has urged that a “toss off” be added to the second presidential debate. You want a president who can win the arm-wrestle off with the Russian leader to see who can fire first in the coming nuclear Holocaust, he always says…

But then there’s line:

Jeff Sessions is awesome.  Sonia Sotomayor is not.
